What is Herpes
There are many types of infectious diseases today man is suffering from. But no such disease is as deadly as Herpes is. Herpes 1 is even more common as compared to Herpes 2. Herpes is a viral infectious disease which results in dangerous skin infections in the form of small blisters in groups over various body parts. These are small, generally red in color, itchy and painful. Herpes is caused by the Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV). HSV is of two types, namely HSV-1 (Herpes Simplex Virus type-1) and HSV-2 (Herpes Simplex Virus type-2). Both the types of HSV are quite different from each other. HSV-1 is the cause of the major cases of Oral Herpes, while HSV-2 is the cause of the most of the cases of Genital Herpes. Talking about Herpes Simplex Virus type-1, it is more commonly referred to as Herpes 1. Herpes 1 is mainly responsible for the cases of Oral Herpes. Now the question comes, what Oral Herpes really is. Herpes is basically of two types, based on the infected body part. Oral Herpes is the type of Herpes when the infections are in the form of small blisters in groups, often sometimes referred to as Cold Sores or Fever Blisters. These infections are usually found over the face, in mouth, on or around the nose, around eyes, on lips, gums or mucous membranes, and sometimes on the neck and elbows in case of Oral Herpes, while in the case of Genital Herpes, similar infections are on the genitals, including the private parts, external sex organs, buttocks and sometimes in the opening of the anus too. Herpes 2 is comparatively more commonly spread as Herpes 1. Herpes 1 is the cause of the most of the cases of Oral Herpes. However, both the types of HSV are able to cause both the types of Herpes. But the major cases of Herpes 1 are caused by HSV-1 only. Herpes 1 causes the infections on the face, in mouth or nearby. These infections are very itchy, painful, filled with fluids and are often called sores. Herpes 1 is often spread by the means of Oral contacts, which include kissing, Oral sex, touching the sores directly, by the means of infected towels, razors, toothbrushes, handkerchiefs of the infected people, etc. At the time of Oral sex too, one can get Oral Herpes if the partner is suffering from Genital Herpes . Herpes is an incurable disease, as there exists no such cure of Herpes which can cure it to 100%. So, one must stay away from Herpes by using proper contraceptive measures in order to prevent it and to continue a healthy life. Natural Herpes Cure is the best way to get rid of herpes.
